How to Play
A quick breakdown of the live turn flow, sector control, and tactical decisions in DiceTac.
Create or join a room
Start a new lobby from the home page or open an active public room.
Place your units
In the placement phase, you assign your initial units to available sectors.
Take turns in the play phase
Each turn has a clear order: deploy units, attack neighboring sectors, and regroup where needed. The active player can make tactical decisions based on current unit counts, map control, and available emblems.
Assault neighboring sectors
Assault actions target adjacent sectors controlled by opponents. Combat resolves with dice, and successful attacks can capture a sector or force a defender to retreat with losses.
Regroup and reinforce
Regroup actions let you move units between your own sectors to strengthen weak positions, reinforce pressure points, or prepare for the next attack.
Use emblems and region bonuses
Emblems are acquired when capturing a sector each turn. Spend three matching emblems, or three emblems of different types to get bonus unit deployments. Each sector is part of a region. Control the whole region to get more deployments.
Quick strategy notes
- Control adjacent sectors to make reinforcement and defense easier.
- Don't overextend too early.
- Use regroup moves to rebuild a front after a costly assault.
- Try to acquire the region bonuses to get more units.
